Electro-Voice launches LRC (Line Radiator Column) Series loudspeakers at InfoComm 2024

Electro-Voice introduced the LRC (Line Radiator Column) Series at InfoComm 2024 — three passive column loudspeakers built for installations where audio quality and clean architecture matter equally.

  • Expands the Electro-Voice installed sound portfolio with three passive column loudspeaker models providing an optimal combination of audio performance and aesthetic refinement

  • Sleek, paintable enclosures blend easily into their surroundings, indoors or outdoors

  • Integrator-friendly features include the patent-pending SwifTilt System – a super-compact flush/pan/tilt bracket that enables the LRC to be mounted as close to the wall as possible

Electro-Voice unveiled three passive column loudspeaker models — the LRC-1060, LRC-1100, and LRC-2100 — at InfoComm 2024. Each is based on purpose-built 2.5" drivers and Electro-Voice's proprietary PaSS dispersion control technology, delivering carefully controlled vertical dispersion and smooth frequency response for environments where both audio quality and clean aesthetics are required.

The enclosures are paintable, available in white or black, and rated for indoor or outdoor installation. The series is positioned as an architecture-friendly choice for main, delay, or distributed sound reinforcement in houses of worship, outdoor performance structures, hospitality venues, mass transit, commercial interiors, and more.

Mounting and installation

A key design feature is the patent-pending SwifTilt System, a super-compact, multi-function flush/pan/tilt bracket that allows mounting close to walls while concealing cables and hardware. All models support inverted mounting, up-tilt, and suspension via multiple rear fly points.

The LRC-1060 and LRC-1100 include integrated 70/100V plus Lo-Z transformers. These transformer-equipped models also feature patented Automatic Saturation Compensation (ASC) technology, which protects system electronics while maintaining low-frequency response.

Driver design and low-frequency extension

All models use Electro-Voice's proprietary PaSS technology with custom-designed phase plugs. The LRC-1060 and LRC-1100 employ passive radiators to extend low-frequency output below 100 Hz. The LRC-2100 uses a two-way design with dual 6.5" woofers, extending response to 45 Hz for true full-range performance in a single-column format.

Availability is scheduled for Q4 2024.
