The venue
Four years on the Avalon Stage
WaveCo Productions has supplied the sound and lighting systems for Glastonbury's Avalon Stage for the last four years, and for the last two editions has paired Dynacord amplifiers with a TW AUDiO loudspeaker system.
For the 2025 setup, WaveCo selected TW AUDiO VERA36 vertical array speakers for the main hangs and delays, with low-frequency support from VERA S33 subwoofers, and T24N cabinets with BSX subs serving as fills.
The challenge
Drive a large festival PA, and keep it stable across three days
The Avalon Stage runs an eclectic mix of artists across three days, with crowd sizes that change throughout each day. The system has to hold up under that load and stay easy to adjust in the moment. Avalon Stage demands serious output to fill the space and match the energy of the three-day lineup, but power alone isn't enough at a festival of this scale. With no room for downtime between sets and an environment that punishes anything less than rock-solid amplification, the system had to deliver consistent, flawless performance from the first act to the last.

Around 20 Dynacord TGX series amplifiers powered the TW AUDiO line arrays. TGX20 models cover the low end, while TGX10 amplifiers drive the main hangs and fills. Delivering up to 20 kW from a single unit, the TGX family is built for exactly this kind of large-scale live demand, with the headroom and reliability to run flawlessly across three full festival days.
Built-in Dynacord presets for TW AUDiO loudspeakers meant the system was tuned and ready from the start, giving the PA the full, warm character that defines a TW AUDiO rig without hours of manual setup.
SONICUE Sound System Software ties it all together at front of house, giving the team complete visibility into system performance and the ability to make quick adjustments, such as tweaking outfills and delays, on the fly as crowd conditions change throughout each day.
