The RE3-RE420-5H pairs True Diversity UHF reception with the RE420 self-biased condenser head: a cardioid capsule with a wide 50 Hz: 20 kHz response, a multi-stage pop filter, and an internal shock mount for detail without the handling noise. A selectable high-pass tames anything below 150 Hz when the stage gets boomy. PLL and IR sync lock the link fast; two AA cells run the set. The 5H band tunes across 560: 596 MHz.
